What is research data management?

Research data is among the most important resources in research. One of the central goals of research data management is: to make data accessible, verifiable and reusable long-term and independent of the data producers. Therefore, a systematic and responsible approach is essential. Research data management comprises all quality assurance measures regarding research data throughout all phases of the research process.
